1. Common Rules
- Realistic Character Names:
Your character must have a somewhat realistic name with correct pronunciation and must not break the Terms of Service (TOS).
- Twitch.tv Terms of Service:
Players must follow Twitch.tv TOS at all times.
- Don't Use Default Face Use Custom.
- Discussion of Real-Life Deceased Individuals:
Discussing real-life deceased individuals is strictly prohibited. Violators of this rule will be appropriately addressed.
- Code of Conduct:
We maintain a strict code of conduct regarding harassment, sexual harassment, excessive name calling, shaming, and targeted personal attacks. Violations may result in a ban.
- No Leaking or Provocative Activities:
You are not allowed to leak information about anybody or involve yourself in provocative activities.
- Intimidation and Harassment:
You are not allowed to intimidate players from playing on the server or continuously harass them in-game for out-of-character reasons.
- Respect and Justification:
Always respect one another. Actions must be justified with proper reasoning; simply stating "it’s my character" will not be considered a valid excuse.
2. Interactions
- Sexual, Torture, or Extremely Gross Roleplay:
Allowed only if all parties involved (participants and witnesses) have agreed in an out-of-character (OOC) chat prior to the roleplay. This must not occur in a public area. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, you can void the scene and leave. Note: Spiking drinks is never allowed in roleplay.
- Prohibited Scenarios:
Scenarios such as rape and nonconsensual touching are strictly prohibited.
- Reporting Issues:
Players breaking the rules do not mean the roleplay stops. If you have an issue with another player, submit a report in-game or on the forums.
- Stream Sniping:
Trying to meet someone via stream sniping is not allowed. If caught, you will be permanently banned and unwhitelisted from the server.
- Recording Rules:
- Players may take pictures with their phone using the emote.
- Players may record using a camera.
- The camera may capture audio if the player is within range (but not through walls or glass).

- Twitch TOS Compliance:
All players must follow Twitch's Terms of Service. (Refer to Twitch TOS for details.)
- Remaining in Character:
All players must remain in character unless an administrator directs otherwise. For OOC communications, use your local OOC chat bar only if necessary.
- Voiding Roleplay:
Players may not void roleplay or any scenario unless a Game Admin or Lead Admin instructs otherwise after a report. Scenes may not be voided without first posting on the forums. All administrator instructions must be followed.
- Maintaining Interactions:
Players may not cut off interactions between themselves or another player unless a Lead Admin or higher instructs otherwise. All administrator directions must be followed.
- Professional Reporting:
Reports must remain professional from all parties. Forum and in-game reports should not devolve into arguments or unnecessary toxicity. Reports should be submitted to the forums within 3 days of an incident.
3. In-Game Rules
Admin Discretion
- Admins have the authority to punish players for actions or conduct that negatively impacts another player’s roleplay experience or undermines the realistic atmosphere. This includes scenes with poor roleplay where forums are not needed if the situation warrants it.
Consequences: Punishments are determined by staff in a fair and reasonable manner.
Common Courtesy
- Respect All Participants:
Everyone must treat each other with respect. Violating rules because of someone else’s actions is not acceptable.
- Roleplay Continuity:
Disrupting, stalling, or voiding roleplay is prohibited unless directed by an administrator.
Examples:
- Exiting the game to evade roleplay (combat logging) may result in an extended ban.
- Repeatedly refusing or avoiding roleplay.
- Bugs and desync issues must be roleplayed out. (show clip and we will help you after the scene)
- Homophobia, misgendering, and targeted hateful remarks are strictly prohibited.
- Insulting another player through out-of-character channels (Forums, Discord, etc.) is unacceptable.
- Disregarding an administrator's decision or ignoring messages is against the rules.
- Failing to roleplay a car crash (unless caused by a desync and voided by an admin) is a violation.
- Being purposefully away from the keyboard to avoid roleplay is not allowed.
- Properties must be sold at realistic prices; excessive additions without justification are prohibited.
- Exiting the game to evade roleplay (combat logging) may result in an extended ban.
- Bug/Exploit Reporting:
Encountering a bug or exploit must be reported immediately. Exploiting such issues will result in a permanent ban. Players are responsible for reporting rule-breaking.
- In-Game “Yellow Pages”:
Attempting to buy or sell weapons/drugs through the in-game application is not allowed.
Consequences: Staff will decide on the punishment based on the situation.
Metagaming
- Definition:
Metagaming is using out-of-character information within the in-character context.
- Examples:
- Incorporating OOC chat information into roleplay.
- Using details from Twitch chat to inform in-character actions.
- Incorporating OOC chat information into roleplay.
- Communication Restrictions:
The use of external platforms (Discord, Skype, etc.) to share in-character information is strictly prohibited.
Consequences: Staff will determine an appropriate punishment.
Powergaming
- Definition:
Powergaming involves performing actions that are unrealistic or forcing roleplay on others, making up events for personal benefit, or using script exploits for an unfair advantage.
- Examples:
- Organizing or calling out locations while downed.
- Seeking the quickest way to make money rather than engaging in roleplay.
- Overusing /me and /do commands inappropriately.
- Driving at unrealistic speeds repeatedly without a character reason.
- Purposefully stomping to death by manipulating the health bar.

Deathmatching
- Definition:
Killing another player without a sufficient roleplay reason (deathmatching) or unnecessary provoking is not allowed. Terrorism is strictly forbidden.
- Vehicle Deathmatching (VDM):
Purposely using your vehicle to harm or kill another player is considered VDM. This includes:
- Attacking without a valid in-character story.
- Using a vehicle with the intent to kill/knock out without proper roleplay initiation.
- Revenge killing when you respawn after being executed (your in-character memory resets upon death).
- Attacking without a valid in-character story.
- Additional Note:
The use of a legally obtained firearms license to harm civilians will result in immediate revocation of that license.
Consequences: Staff will determine the appropriate punishment.
Robbing and Scamming
- Definitions:
- Robbing: Taking someone's possessions (money, items, etc.) by force or threat.
- Scamming: Offering a good or service and then refusing to pay or deliver it.

- Guidelines:
- All robberies and scams must be strictly conducted in character.
- Forcing another player to withdraw money from an ATM is not allowed.
- Valid reasoning must always support a robbery.
- Script commands cannot force another player to sell their vehicle during a robbery.
- Players cannot force others to hand over assets that are not present in the area.
- Scamming is capped at a maximum of $30,000.
- Robbing items from Police or Fire Departments is prohibited.
- Luxury, high-end, or sports cars cannot be used in a robbery.
- Always be mindful of how much cash you carry.
- Looting dead players is forbidden.
- Group robberies should not be used to exploit police resources by splitting up to hit a house from multiple areas.
- Robbing a player during a scripted job (e.g., garbage pickup) is not allowed.
- Commands like “put your hands up” should be used solely with the intent to rob, not to kill.
- Robbing or scamming inside a greenzone is prohibited.
- Chain robberies on your character, unless perfectly roleplayed, are considered unrealistic. Only one robbery per hour is allowed. For groups, the rule applies to the entire group.
- Killing someone during a robbery is only allowed if they bring it upon themselves.
- Always show value for your life and your character's life.
- All robberies and scams must be strictly conducted in character.
- Consequences: Punishments will be determined by staff based on the situation.
New Life Rule (NLR)
- Definition:
If you are downed and respawn at the hospital, your character forgets the immediate events leading up to the incident.
- Guidelines:
- You may not return to the area of your death for at least 15 minutes or attempt to retrieve lost possessions from involved players.
- If you experience a Character Kill (CK), you may not create a new character for revenge.
- If downed and respawned, you must not reappear if police or EMS are en route.
- Always attempt to contact medical help while incapacitated.

Abuse of Game Physics
- Prohibited Actions:
- Bunnyhopping: Jumping repeatedly while running to gain speed.
- Spam Punching: Continuously clicking the mouse button in a fight without allowing reaction time.
- Combat Rolling: Rolling in a shootout without roleplay justification.
- Olympic Swimming: Swimming without roleplaying exhaustion.
- Job Abuse: Spawning a job vehicle to evade the police or exploit roleplay.
- Bunnyhopping: Jumping repeatedly while running to gain speed.
- Consequences: Staff will determine an appropriate punishment.
Third Party Modifications
- Prohibited Mods:
Any game modification or software that gives a player an advantage over others is forbidden. This includes client-side modding for advantages.
- Mods, trainers, crosshairs, tracers, unlimited stamina, etc. must not alter in-game functionality.
- Aesthetic mods are allowed provided they do not change game functions.

Safezones - Definition:
A no-crime zone where no crimes can be committed. If a player flees to a safezone, the roleplay may continue.
- Safezone Areas Include:
- Spawn Locations
- City Hall, Government Offices, Law Enforcement Offices, Hospitals, Car Dealerships, Banks, the Department of Motor Vehicles, The Country Club. No Stealing Goverment Cars.
- Shopping Centers/Malls – Inside Only.
- Parking Garages & Impound Lots.
- Inside Clothing Stores, Tattoo Shops, and Barber Shops.
- Player-Owned Businesses (sidewalks and parking lots are green zones when the business is open).
- Server Events (excluding Block Parties & House Parties).
- Movie Theatres, The Arena, Bowling Alleys, LA Fitness – Inside Only.
- The Diamond Casino (including the parking lot).
- Dave & Busters
- Spawn Locations
- Consequences: Staff will decide on the punishment based on the violation.
Not Valuing Life (NVL)
- Expectations:
- Always value your character's life as you would your own.
- If held at gunpoint, comply with the attacker’s instructions.
- When hostages are involved, value their lives as if they were your own.
- Fake hostages for criminal schemes are not allowed.

- Being in a vehicle with a running engine without concern.
- Having a drawn firearm and not reacting appropriately.
- Taking unnecessary risks when the attacker’s view is obstructed.

Illegal Activities
- Group Limitations:
Criminal activities are limited to a maximum of 4 players at a time.
- Guidelines:
- Relaying information between characters (lookouts, radio communications) counts as participation.
- Prioritize roleplaying over selecting shooters or grinders.
- When a character is in police custody and a second group forms to intervene (e.g., for a prison break), the second group must wait until the prison transport begins. Use of small weapons or poorly planned interventions is considered NVL.
- Gambling involving dice ("shooting dice") has a maximum bet of $20,000 per roll and must be conducted in cash.
- Relaying information between characters (lookouts, radio communications) counts as participation.
- Consequences: Staff will decide on the punishment based on the situation.
Multiple Characters in One Gang/Group
- Policy:
- Players are not allowed to have multiple characters involved in the same gang or group.
- If your character dies within a faction and you wish to rejoin the same faction, you must start as a RESIDENT AND/OR MEMBER and work your way up to a leadership role.
- This policy encourages deeper roleplay and prevents backdoor attempts at regaining leadership.
- New characters must not be related to the previous one (in character).
- Players are not allowed to have multiple characters involved in the same gang or group.
- Consequences: Staff will determine the appropriate punishment.
Corruption (IC)
- Prohibited Actions:
- Distributing firearms or weapons from within the Police Department or Fire Department without proper authorization.
- Taking large amounts of money, weapons, or items from another player without reporting to staff.
- Setting up another player to be killed as part of police or fire department roleplay.
- Players must work under one career in government employment; for example, a Police Department member cannot simultaneously work for EMS and vice versa.
- Applying for and being accepted for a legal firearm license to distribute weapons or ammunition without proper oversight.
- Distributing firearms or weapons from within the Police Department or Fire Department without proper authorization.
- Consequences: Staff will decide on the punishment based on the situation.
Refunds
- Donation Policy:
There is a strict NO REFUND policy on any donation made toward the server. Donations support server maintenance and community enjoyment. This includes whitelist applications, instant whitelist, and any in-game assets provided.
Real World Trading
- Definition:
Trading or buying in-game items for out-of-game currency is strictly prohibited.
- Example:
Exchanging a vehicle in-game for real money (OOC) is not allowed.
Consequences: Staff will determine the punishment based on the situation.
Vehicle Price Agreement
- Pricing Rule:
All vehicles sold on the server must adhere to the following guideline:
- Players may add a maximum of $75,000 USD to the vehicle’s original/stock price.
- Example: If a Dodge Charger Hellcat has a sticker price of $200,000 USD, it may not be sold for more than $275,000 USD.
- Players may add a maximum of $75,000 USD to the vehicle’s original/stock price.
- Consequences: Staff will decide on the appropriate punishment, which may include a ban and/or character wipe.
Obscene Roleplay
- Guidelines:
Obscene roleplay scenes must be conducted away from public areas or where other players might accidentally be involved.
- If any participant feels uncomfortable during an obscene roleplay scene, they may opt out, voiding the scene.
- All parties must provide OOC consent via local OOC chat before proceeding with any obscene roleplay.

- Content Restrictions:
- Erotic or sexual roleplay, torture-styled roleplay, and scenes involving gore that may cause discomfort must be handled with extreme caution.

4. Punishment & Appeal Information
- Punishment Determination:
Staff reviews each situation individually and assigns penalties (warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans) based on the severity and context of the rule violation.
- Reasonable and Fair:
Our approach is reasonable and fair, and staff will consider all circumstances before making a decision.
- Appeals:
If you believe you have been punished unfairly, you may appeal through our established process.
5. Strike System
- Strike 1: First ban offense

- Strike 3: Final ban offense (whitelist revoked; can reapply after 30 days)
